Orange Box Studios was awarded the opportunity to create 3D animations and 3D graphics for the trial regarding the Indianapolis Central Public Library. With the techincal input of CTL Group, Orange Box Studios developed several models and animations for Tabbert, Hahn, Earnest & Weddle. The computer generated graphical presentations were mainly used to educate the jury about the case and engineering terms and data with simplicity through 3d animation.
The Inianapolis-Marion County Public Library was seeking 24.5 million in damages and approximately 24.5 million for punitive damages. The jury rejected the library's defense seeking fraud and construction fraud. The Indianpolis-Marion public library had been facing constructive problems in the parking garage, mainly cracks and spawls in the garage's beams and columns, which cost the library several million dollars to renevate before the construction was even completed by all parties involved.
During the legal process, Orange Box Studios had the opportunity to work Dr. Jeff Garrett and other talented engineers such as Peter Kolf.
